Identifying as sworn law enforcement while collecting (Georgia DPS 5.03).

EEOC does not issue moonlighting permits. Your employer’s written policy does. State ethics (Georgia 478-1-.07, city ordinances) do. EEOC’s interest is narrower: rules applied without illegal discrimination, and no using official power to coerce anyone into your private service. We will not claim “EEOC approved.”

Fire / EMS

Shift days off. After-hours collections when clinics close. You already write reports that have to stand.

Teachers

Summer and evenings. GaPSC Standard 6: do not sell services to your students or their parents unless the board says so.

Lab Testing Solutions already uses independently contracted public-safety people for mobile and after-hours collections. You collect. LTS runs barcodes, Quest/LabCorp routing, FormFox for Quest, and MRO when required.

Funding, if you qualify

Firefighters, teachers, veterans, and other trained public employees can be reviewed for LTS sponsorship of DOT qualification and starter setup. Qualification is a person looking at your approval letter and your training — not a chatbot yes.
